Township 7 Provenance Series Merlot 2018
Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaWe have seen some bigger, richer versions of merlot from Township 7 of late, and this is another one. It begins with dry, dusty, earthy, spicy aromas that spill onto the palate. The tannins are prominent, and the fruit is somewhat suppressed at this point. The style persists through the back end of the wine. It needs time, but the lack of fruit at this point suggests it will likely remain firm and dry most of its life.
