Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaA year later, this wine is just beginning to develop in the bottle. It opens with an aromatic desert scrub note, with a streak of licorice. The palate is rounding out, offering merlot's lushness with juicy black and blue fruits, complemented by a touch of cedar and beef jus in the back end. The tannins are absorbed mainly by the oak, resulting in a long finish.
