Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaQQ2 opens with an aromatic desert scrub note with a mix of florals and licorice. The palate is merlot lush with juicy black and blue fruit, including plums, cocoa, cedar, and beef jus.. Some structural linear notes from the tannins have yet to disperse, but this should be an excellent bottle by 2026. The finish is long, and more oak is pitching at the moment, but that too will recede.
