Corcelettes Cabernet Sauvignon 2022
Similkameen Valley, British Columbia, CanadaExpect an utterly distinctive cabernet sauvignon from the Similkameen. It opens with thorny black currant and blackberry, providing a lovely, fresh, sappy character to this medium-full cab. Anthony picked up on a dusty minerality in the previous vintage, and that's here again – almost Coonawarra-like – alongside a swath of desert shrub and Similkameen salinity. It's firmly structured at this stage, but with the fruit concentration to support the level of extraction. Best from 2028 to 2034. Corcelettes has hit another level with the 2022 vintage.
