Similkameen Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe Corcelettes Estate Vineyard is on the Upper Bench in Keremeos and is a mix of alluvial Stemwinder soils and gravelly sandy loam Similkameen soils. The cabernet sauvignon, notoriously hard to ripen, had no problems on 2020, as evidenced by its almost silky character, definitely rounder than the cabernet franc. Look for cassis, black plums and a subtle savour olive undercurrent.
