Blue Mountain Estate Cuvée Sauvignon Blanc 2023
Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaBoth subtle and expressive, this is an excellent rendition of sauvignon blanc from Okanagan Falls. It has all the green notes, herbs, grapefruit, and grass but in a thoughtful, muted way. It also has wonderful ripeness that works well against the bright acidity and lime rind finish. The chalky mineral notes add yet another dimension. The 16-17 year old vines are picked twice at different flavour and acid levels and fermented with ambient winery yeast in 50% stainless steel tanks and 50% large French foudres.
