Burrowing Owl Rosé 2023

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis pale-hued cabernet franc rosé comes from their Oliver and Osoyoss estate vineyards, picked separately in late September. The destemmed fruit was held overnight to extract the pale salmon hue, then pressed off for a long, cool ferment in steel, where it remained for three months until bottling. Sleek strawberry and raspberry are amply spiced with peppery baking spices and glide over a glycerol / lees-slicked base to a snappy finish. This is quite a posh, styled version, ready for your yacht (or dock, lakeside).Tasted: 06 July 2024Tasted by: Prices:
