Township 7 Pinot Gris Provenance Series 2023

Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaWinter damage, a smaller crop, and wildfires all played a part in an eventful late 2022 and 2023 Okanagan Valley growing season. This Naramata gris comes off the Township 7 estate right at the entrance to the Bench. It has a slightly sweet and ripe bent, with orange and red apples, tart lemon streaks, and a touch of creamy lees. It is a bit simple, but it can be a wine for the patio and small bites if well chilled. Cream cheese and salmon would be a fine match. The wine is predominately stainless steel fermented with two barrels added for complexity and texture. Ready to drink.Tasted: 11 June 2024Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
