Lightning Rock Chardonnay Canyonview Vineyard 2022
Summerland Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaPlanted in 2003 on south facing, sandy granite soils, this chardonnay was whole cluster pressed and native fermented in neutral oak puncheons, where it remained until bottling, unfined and unfiltered. Light cream beds bright green apple, ripe lemon, subtle toast, and lees, with an alluring thread of reduction woven throughout, drawing this to a saline finish.
