Lunessence Pinot Noir 2022

Golden Mile Slopes, Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaLunessence has embarked on a pinot noir planting program on the home property in Summerland, but we are still awaiting the fruit from that site. This year, the grapes come off the Golden Mile Slopes. That’s right, the Golden Mile Slopes, a confusing name given to what must have been a bunch of unhappy producers whose land fell outside the Golden Mile Bench boundaries, defining the best sites south and West of Oliver, but I digress. The colour is light, the nose pinot-like with cherries and earth, but on the palate, the fruit is more sour than sweet with some light but sticky tannins. It's not my favourite.Tasted: 04 April 2024Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
