JoieFarm Pinot Noir 2022

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe JoieFarm Pinot checks in at 12.7% alcohol and presents with a floral, earthy, green hedge nose. The palate is a slightly sour mix of rhubarb and cherries with more beautiful earthy notes at the finish. The texture is a plus, silky and long, but it needs a touch more ripeness to be that mouth-filling pinot most of us seek. The grapes were picked and sorted by hand, cold soaked for 6 days, and fermented in an open-top vessel for 10 days. The wine is pressed and racked to neutral French oak puncheons and aged for 10 months.Tasted: 11 April 2024Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
