JoieFarm Pinot Noir 2013

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaTwo clones of pinot noir from Summerland and Naramata work together in this savoury, scented, stony red. Raspberry, cherry, and light smoke aromas continue on the medium bodied palate, where fine, grainy tannins carry the perfumed, spicy fruit while rhubarb tartness lifts it. Medium toast wood frames the whole, and finishes with fine, nutmeg laced spicing. Youthful, juicy and vibrantly robust, this is a natural to reach for when duck or wild mushrooms is on the menu.Tasted: 23 October 2015Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
