Sweet caramel notes reflect the brandy barrels it is aged in, quickly penetrating the wine, wiping out its sense of place and the grape variety it is made from. However, this lush style has its attraction for some. You can drink this now, and given lush, mouth-filling caramel and chocolate notes, you can serve this solo to great effect.
