Côtes du Rhône, Rhone Valley, FranceFrom Cave de Cairanne, a co-op based in the southern Rhône, this Côtes du Rhône is a blend of grenache, syrah, and carignan. The name, L'Insouciante, translates as "the carefree" and the wine is made in that spirit. It's approachable and juicy, with sappy, brambly fruit that's accented by peppery spice and lavender.
