Its cassis-scented nose previews a rich red with almost no tannins to speak of and an easy sipping style that plays into the jammy, figgy, dark plum, and chocolate fruit that melts in your mouth. You could drink this without food, although I recommend you serve it with barbecued ribs and a spicy sweet sauce.
