Lombardy, ItalyEstablished in 2003, Adria Vini is a winemaking venture jointly owned by Boutinot and Araldica Castelvero, the leading co-operative in the Monferrato hills of Piemonte. The aim is to produce authentic, well priced wine from local grape varieties. Nothing is overlooked, from picking the grapes to vinification and bottling. This pinot grigio comes from mature vineyards picked in late August / early September, fermented and aged for 3 to 6 months on fine lees in stainless steel tanks. Expect a dry, fresh style with clean florals and lemons, with a swirl of lees to a lightly bitter finish. Another inexpensive, quality white that will work with an array of West Coast seafood.
