Lakeboat Pinot Noir 2021
Kaleden, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe 2021 iis much lighter in colour and style than the 2020, but still has a ripe, sweet, cherry, mulberry profile with an earthy, brown spice, barnyard finish. Approachable, ready to drink with mostly silky textures. Lakeboat is owned by Tara Mathison, who originally purchased an older house in Kaleden surrounded by the vineyard of Topshelf Winery, which was also for sale. Lakeboat Winery opened in 2022, and 2021 is the second vintage to be released.
