Frind Estate Premier Merlot 2022
British Columbia, Canada2022 is dense, full-bodied and sweet all at once. This is a big mouth full of merlot pitching the brighter red fruits, black cherries, and boysenberries with a bit of milk chocolate. The tannins are dry and firm and will need some time in the bottle to settle in and dissipate. The sweetness will be over the top for some and highly attractive to others. We look forward to seeing what newly arrived winemaker Corrie Krebiel of Mission Hill fame will do with this grape.
