Frind Estate Premier Merlot 2021
British Columbia, CanadaThe Premier Merlot comes from the southern Okanagan, although the label is VQA British Columbia. It offers a nice jump in intensity over the regular 2021 merlot, pitching fully ripe black cherry. It has some of that merlot charm up front while the palate carries the sweet fruit from the front to the back. This has two or three windows for it to reach full maturity, but you can drink it now, especially with beef or pork off the barbecue.
