Four Mile Creek, Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, CanadaOne of a series of terroir-specific chardonnays Thomas Bachelder released from 2021, this comes from Four Mile Creek's Bator Vineyard, and its clay loam soils. Approximately 3-4 km from Lake Ontario, this clone 76 chardy was planted in 2005. It was native fermented, and rested 20 months in slightly used Burgundian barrels. Perfumed white fruits, citrus blossoms rule the fleshier chardonnay, lined with flax and lanolin, and brightened with lemon lacing through a saline finish.Tasted: 16 December 2023Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
