Winemaker's Cut Grüner Veltliner 2022

Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAt Winemaker’s Cut, the Bohemian tier is dedicated to wines that exemplify their unique South Okanagan terroir and a self-described unconventional winemaking style. The fruit is grown north of Oliver in the south Okanagan Valley on sandy loam and gravel, and this 1 acre plot was planted in 2009. The wine is fermented in 50% Slovakian oak for 41 days. The nose is fresh with green peach and pear that spills onto a lively palate of citrus, white pepper, and a refreshing, uplifting mineral character. Tempura dishes are a perfect match. Production is far too low at 150 cases.Tasted: 24 November 2023Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
