Meyer Family Vineyards Pinot Noir - B Field Blend McLean Creek Road Vineyard 2022

Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe B Field Blend is a new pinot cuvée from their home estate McLean Creek Road vineyard, and a plot planted in 2017 to Dijon clones 115, 667, 777, plus a cutting taken from their Old Block and its unknown clone (Germanic?) For this cuvée, the four clones were picked together and cofermented before resting 11 months in neutral French barrels. Smoked green herbs, forest moss, spring rhubarb rules this punchy, medium bodied pinot, lit with cranberry acidity, and framed with soft, furry tannins through a super saline finish. A bit disjointed, this youthful pinot best suits some grilled mushroom / salmon burgers now.Tasted: 08 January 2024Tasted by: Prices:
