Corcelettes Malbec Micro Lot Series 2021
Similkameen Valley, British Columbia, CanadaPart of their Micro Lot series, only 165 cases of this Similkameen malbec was made, from the stemwinder soils off their 2007 and 2018 estate plantings. After resting in oak, this was bottled unfined and unfiltered. Wild and powerful, this is lashed and shaped by the savoury, windy Similkameen. Fragrant and resinous desert scrub, cracked peppercorn, dusky violets, perfumed wild blueberry and thorny blackberry is woven throughout the cushioned, medium+ palate, housed with grippy and structural tannins, finishing with a bitter black cherry twist.
