Lombardy, ItalyThe blend is 60/40 chardonnay/pinot noir selected from the best fruit inside the 19 municipal areas of Franciacorta. The pinot gets a few hours of maceration on its skin to touch pink. The assemblage includes 10% reserve wines before a two-year rest on their lees in the bottle during the second fermentation. Expect a fragrant wild berry nose. It is tagged Extra Dry with 15 grams of sugar, and some still pinot noir added at dosage.
