Alsace, FranceA family business since 1626, brothers Pierre and Jean Trimbach are currently overseeing the house. This Réserve Gewürztraminer is not made every year, but only when conditions merit. This is compact and dense with white grapefruit, mandarin, dried apricot, and a sheen of white honey that lines the fuller, luxuriant palate. Appearing just-off dry, there is a wave of bright citrus acidity that carries this through a star anise finish.
