Township 7 Riesling Benchmark Series Fool's Gold Vineyard 2020
Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFool's Gold Vineyard is located in North Oliver. The highly selected fruit is pressed and cold settled before fermenting in stainless steel at very cool temperatures, with a small portion fermented wild in neutral oak barrels. Like 2019, it remains surprisingly fresh on the attack with a subtle light Clare Valley face powder scent and flavour. The fruit is crunchy with more green apple, lime rind, and grapefruit pith that runs through the finish. Tart, crisp, and mineral, it's ready for food that needs a squeeze of lemon.
