Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFool's Gold Vineyard is located in North Oliver. It may surprise many, but it yields some fresh, crisp, and dry riesling vaguely reminiscent of the Clare Valley. The fruit is pressed and cold settled before fermenting at very cool temperatures, with a small portion fermented wild in neutral oak. It's not as fragrant as Clare, but the crunchy fruit is biting with big green apple, lime, and grapefruit pith throughout the palate.
