Altesino Rosso Toscana 2019

Tuscany, ItalyAltesino has always been a pioneering winery in Tuscany. They introduced the Cru concept with their Montosoli in 1975, were the first to experiment with barriques in 1979, and the first to release Brunello futures in 1985. The IGT Rosso is a classy spaghetti red that is hard to ignore. It is about 80/85 percent sangiovese mixed with 15/20 of merlot and cabernet sauvignon. It sees no wood, spending its life in stainless steel, pitching warm, mellow red-black fruits streaked with cherry, dried florals, leather and thyme. A real wine you can serve to Italian wine lovers Monday to Friday with confidence.Tasted: 26 October 2023Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
