Belle Colle Langhe Nebbiolo 2021
Piedmont, ItalyDOC Langhe Nebbiolo is designed to be drunk long before any Barolo from the same year, but not all Langhe Nebbiolo is made with the same care as this Belle Colle version. To know why, taste this wine, mixing fragrant floral violets with scented roses and sweet black cherries. The entry is charmingly soft and fresh, pitching pretty red fruit and soft, dusty, almost non-existent tannins. There is no dryness here, just a delicious red wine you want to swallow quickly, even if it is far more deserving of serious study. Once again, it is more reminiscent of pinot noir than nebbiolo.
