Mayhem Riesling 2022
Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom 19 year old vines in Naramata's Garagan Vineyard, this was picked later in October, whole bunch pressed and fermented in stainless, with the ferment stopped when the desired sweetness (17.55 g/L) was reached. It then aged on lees 7 months in a mix of neutral puncheons and barriques, with 3/4 resting in stainless. Juicy lime, fleshy white peach and orchard blossoms fill this off-dry white, with ample citric acidity to carry this through the snappy, apple juice finish.
