Blue Grouse Pinot Noir 2021

Cowichan Valley, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, CanadaFrom Vancouver Island’s Cowichan Valley, this pinot noir has rested post-ferment in amphoras before spending 16 months in barrels. The attack is fresh and pure, pitching plums and black raspberries with a savoury underside of earth and leaves, and a dollop of spice at the back end. The texture is well managed with firm but pliable tannins and a signature fresh terroir full of bright acid. It is a perfect fall or winter wine you can serve with mushroom dishes or grilled salmon.Tasted: 29 August 2024Tasted by: Prices:
