Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe silky texture is apparent even on the first whiff. Cherries, wild strawberry, lilac, a touch of kirsch, and baking spice all float up. There is a light body and intensity in the flavours but with graceful fruit clarity and surprising length in the finish. Subtle flavours of strawberry, lilac, and cranberry have a fine floating texture. It is light for a Century Block pinot but retains its calm, refined charm—cellar for a few years to elaborate the flavours.
