Gérard Bertrand Côte Des Roses Rosé 2022
Languedoc, Sud de France, FranceGerard Bertrand is on a mission with Rosé, one of the icon wines of the Mediterranean lifestyle. The bottle is distinctive, with its base in the shape of a rose, created by a young designer from the École Boulle. It is a wine to be given the same way you would offer a bouquet of roses. The fruit comes from various sites across the Languedoc, mixing grenache, cinsault, and syrah, all fermented separately for 15 -30 days. Pale in colour but big in wild strawberry flecked with juicy tangerine and crisp acidity. The perfect pink picnic wine, if ever there was one.
