Tightrope Winery Pinot Gris 2022
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis pinot gris comes off the Naramata estate Fleet Road Vineyard, as well as neighbouring vineyards. All the grapes were picked and harvested on the same day, whole cluster pressed, and cold settled before a cool ferment in stainless over 1 month. The ferment was stopped to capture desired RS. Ripe white peach, juicy pear, and cushy lees runs this medium palate, with licks of pithy grapefruit to sharpen and a seasoning of fine desert scrub on the finish.
