Mayhem Rosé 2022
Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaI don't like to do too much work when I'm drinking Rosé. Translation, make it fun, or even Mayhem. This merlot rosé from the Ryegrass Vineyard is fermented slowly in stainless tanks over 11 weeks before getting a six month rest in 92% stainless tank and 8% neutral French barrique. The colour is red/pink and the style is fresh and juicy with vibrant red and orange fruit, all lightly spiced. There's a little residual sugar, but not enough to scare off dry wine drinkers.
