Coastal Region, South AfricaWith fruit from the Tygerberg Hills and Stellenbosch, chilled by the proximity to the Atlantic, this chenin had 4 hours skin contact before an overnight settling and fermentation in 300L and 400L French oak barrels, where it rested for ten months (10% new). The wood is evident, with a creamy, toasty underbelly supporting ripe pear, white peach, yellow apple, and lemon blossoms, wrapped with wood spicing.
