Noble Ridge Reserve Pinot Noir 2019
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe Reserve Pinot Noir comes off the Noble Ridge home vineyard in Okanagan Falls, planted to pinot noir clones 113, 114, 115, and 777. It was cold soaked for five days and fermented at 22-25 degrees Celsius before spending 14 months in French oak, where only 10 percent was new. The nose is a mix of cola and earthy cherries mixed with spice and a touch of tannin. This was a gold medal winner in San Francisco this year, but I think it probably should be consumed in the next year to catch the fruit. Try this with grilled salmon with a soy dressing.Tasted: 09 May 2023Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $34.99 | 750ml | winery direct, select private wine stores |
