Garnet Valley, Summerland Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAs has been the case with Okanagan Crush Pad / Haywire of late, this wine has undergone a rebrand, losing the Haywire name altogether, and relaunched under the new Garnet Valley Ranch label—this traditional method blend of chardonnay and pinot noir spent six years on lees. The extended time on lees is evident with oxidative and doughy notes, toasted hazelnut, and dried apple woven with crunchy green and red apple, with a lemon peel twist to tighten the saline finish.
