Covert Farms Sparkling Zinfandel Methode Ancestrale 2021
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaCovert Farms are working the land in the best ways, practicing regenerative organic wine growing, but the winemaking can be a bit hit and miss. This sparkling zin, made in the ancestral style, began fermenting in stainless steel and finished in the bottle. It has a cloudy pale peach colour, its most redeeming feature, followed by a soft rhubarb and barely there cranberry and cherry before the acid kicks in.
