Covert Farms Rosé 2022
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis blend of merlot, cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon, and pinot noir comes off organic, regeneratively farmed Mimi's Block and Coyote Block on their spectacular 650 acre bluff overlooking Oliver. The grapes were cofermented, and bled off skins (providing the medium peach hue) before aging 4 months on lees in stainless. Ripe and expansive on the fuller (14%) off-dry palate, this carries sun-sweetened strawberries and raspberries, subtle blood orange, along a glycerol decked palate, finishing with a dusting of spice.
