Paladin Prosecco Brut Rosé 2021

Veneto, ItalyThis is a 90/10 mix of glera and pinot noir, made from a winery founded by Valentino Paladin in 1962, long before Prosecco was known internationally. Still family owned today, the estate is farmed according to lutte raisonnée (reasoned viticulture) principles and the wines contain 50% fewer sulphites than is typical. Expect a pleasant strawberry character with only medium sweetness flecked with pepper and pear in the finish. More wine like than rosé, which is a bonus.Tasted: 01 April 2023Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
