Vinho Verde, Northern Portugal, PortugalFrom VV's prized sub-region of Monçao e Melgaço, in the granitic and schistous stony north of the appellation at 200m, this was macerated on skins followed by a soft press and 6 months in stainless, with bâtonnage. Tight and shining with lemon, guava, grapefruit streaking across a sleek palate, lightly grazed with the aforementioned granite grip, and rife with Atlantic salinity through the finish.
