Domaine Fleith L'orange 2021

Alsace, FranceIn 1996, Vincent Fleith took over his family's 9 hectares, becoming the 11th generation of winegrowers to caretake these lands. He converted the estate to biodynamics over the next years. As the name suggests, this is an orange blend of macerated Gewürztraminer, Pinot gris, and Muscat. This is native fermented in stainless. Ample sultry perfumed musk, fleshy apricot, pear skin rule the low toned, lackadaisical palate, with a slight riff of apricot pith sharing the maceration. A curious wine, and one to pull out for trickier pairings like Moroccan dishes.Tasted: 16 March 2023Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
