Muscadet, Pays Nantais, Loire, FranceFrom Les Laures' shallow, stony soils over a deep granite base, this sees 15-30 year old vines, native fermented and with 9 months on lees. Pretty pear, melon, tight gooseberry run a sleek palate over a shallow bed of lees. There's a luring crushed stones drawing this through a saline finish.
