Fort Berens White Gold Reserve 2021
Lillooet, British Columbia, CanadaFrom their Lillooet estate, this reserve chardonnay was 50% whole cluster, with the rest destemmed and on skins for 4 hours. Both lots were native fermented in French oak (partial MLF), where they remained for 9 months (30% new). As the Gold label reflects, this is a rich white, with ample buttery lees, ripe white peach and pear, fragrant white florals across a toasty, full backdrop.
