South Australia, AustraliaIt's been a long time since I've tried the Wolf Blass Yellow Label, which was a staple on my family's dinner table growing up. This shows appealing, varietally accurate cassis and menthol notes, with a definition to the fruit that you don't commonly see at this price point. There's some stickiness to the tannins, balanced by a touch of sweetness, but all in all this is a really solid Aussie cabernet. I'd wager Yellow Label has never been better.Tasted: 13 November 2022Tasted by: Prices:

South Australia, AustraliaSmooth and fruity, it’s an easy drinking red, but what stands out is that it hasn’t lost cabernet’s distinctive greenness, freshness, and tannins. It’s almost a relief to encounter a decent wine like this at this price point. Great value!Tasted: 30 December 2022Tasted by: Prices:
