Pernand-Vergelesses, Côte de Beaune, Côte d'Or, Burgundy, FranceGrown just around the hill from the Grand Cru of Corton Charlemagne, these vines are rooted between 250-300m in the foothills of the hillside, in clay / limestone soils mixed with chaillots. It was native fermented in foudre, where it remains for 11 months, with full MLF and no bâtonnage. Expressive white flowers, pear blossoms, quince, river stones glide along the silken / creamy palate, with a firmly buzzy chalky underlay through a finely saline finish.Tasted: 11 November 2022Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
