They are equally exceptional in quality, but distinctively different. This opens with a stunningly expressive nose of bright red berries, florals, and spicy notes layered with perfumed sandalwood and incense. The richness of the lovely fruit is framed by tight acidity and refined tannins which are both exquisitely integrated. The finish is long with saline savouriness. There's a wild edge to the lifted fruit, showing macerated strawberries and raspberries that are heightened by perfumed rose petals, savoury herbs, and delicate spice. There's a remarkable purity to the fruit and real precision to the winemaking, with a polished, silky palate that's richly concentrated and laden with minerals. In a word: ethereal.
