Vig Clone 115 Pinot Noir 2020
Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaPenelope and Dylan Roche, owners of Naramata-based Roche wines, have launched a collection of labels tagged Vig (that’s short for vigneron or winegrower), which collaborates with renowned Canadian artists known for their bold style. The Roches asked them to create a label that illustrates their sensory experiences when tasting the wine. In this case, artist Sarah Neely’s colourful label takes on the clone 115 pinot noir with earthy raspberry/tomato and an earthy undercurrent. The savoury fruit is organically farmed, hand picked, and aged in neutral French oak.
