Rioja, SpainThe classic Rioja of the house, this tempranillo was tipped with 10% garnacha and fermented in underground vats prior to barrel aging in partially new American oak over 18 months, plus six months of bottle age before release. Ripe cherry, saddle, roasted root veg, and earth is tart with cranberry acidity and framed with toasty, cedar-lined tannins.
